TravBudd™ is a social marketplace; an innovative platform that connects individuals to share experiences together. We match users based on their profiles, preferences, and a mutual interest in an event or experience. TravBudd™ also helps local events and experiences hosts/organizers reach more customers and build community. TravBudd™ is the name of the company and what we call an individual user. So, individuals on TravBudd™ are TravBudds™. TravBudd™ connects TravBudds™ to share life experiences. We aim to foster genuine connections through shared interests and in-person experiences. We believe frequent, in-person social interactions are essential to our health and well-being. On TravBudd™, you have ample opportunities to meet and connect with “buddies” to share fun life experiences, and perhaps, even journey through life together. :-)

TravBudd™ offers many categories of events and experiences for TravBudds™ (users) to choose from and get matched on. There is something for every interest! TravBudd™ does not offer travel experiences... yet. ;-)

TravBudd™’s beta web app went live in January. To join TravBudd™, simply create an account, complete your profile, indicate your match preferences, and start picking your events and experiences. We regularly update our events and experiences offerings to bring you the best your city has to offer. Follow us on Instagram and keep an eye out for our emails for events and product updates. TravBudd™ charges a $10 flat fee for each matched event (excluding the ticket cost of the chosen event/experience). Users are responsible for the full ticket cost of their chosen events and experiences. A "matched event" is an event or experience where users have mutually accepted and confirmed their TravBudd™ match/es. Matches must be mutually accepted and confirmed for users (TravBudds™) to be connected.

TravBudd™ offers: Platonic (Friend) Matches: Whether you're new to town, looking to meet new people, or make friends — get matched with individuals who share your interests, and start exploring fun, local events and experiences together Romantic (Date) Matches: Get matched with individuals who share your interests and get to that first date sooner. Find your special someone by exploring fun, local events and experiences together! Group Matches: Whether you're a couple looking for other couple friends or you're riding solo but would prefer a group hangout — get matched with individuals who share your interests, and explore fun, local events and experiences together! Users can pick different match-up types for different events and experiences. You are not stuck forever with any selection. Find your person or your people! :-)

TravBudd™ is a social marketplace; we match individuals based on their profiles, preferences, and a mutual interest in an event and experience. We connect users (TravBudds™) to share experiences together. TravBudd™ also helps local events and experiences hosts/organizers reach more customers and build community. Once in a while TravBudd™ may host an event or experience such as our Solar Eclipse Viewing offering or our Thunder Over Louisville experience. TravBudd™ may also offer a "TravBudd™ Meetup" at a particular event or experience such as Waterfront Wednesday. However, TravBudd™ primarily acts as a social marketplace. Yes. Once matches are mutually accepted and confirmed, TravBudd™ connects you to your fellow TravBudd™ (match/es).

Part of confirming your TravBudd™ match is paying for your event ticket. TravBudd™ holds the ticket cost amount until matches are mutually accepted and confirmed. Once matches are mutually accepted and confirmed, event ticket costs are non-refundable. TravBudd™ sends the purchased event tickets to the matched individuals. TravBudds™ can decline a potential match if they are unable to attend their chosen event or experience. TravBudds™ are refunded the total amount for their event ticket if matches are not mutually accepted and confirmed. We strongly encourage users to notify us as soon as they know they will be unable to attend an event. Once matches are mutually accepted and confirmed, the event ticket costs are non-refundable. TravBudd™ aims to cultivate a community of trust, kindness, and courtesy. Part of that is respecting your fellow TravBudd™, their time, and following through on commitments. However, we understand emergencies can occur, and there may be cases where a TravBudd™ is unable to follow through on a commitment. TravBudd™ will address these situations on a case-by-case basis. Since users on TravBudd™ pay for their event ticket as part of confirming their match, this lessens the likelihood of users not showing up to an event. Once matches are mutually accepted and confirmed, event ticket costs are non-refundable.

TravBudd™ is a social marketplace; if there is an event or experience not currently listed on TravBudd™ but you would like it offered, simply submit a request with details of the event or experience.
